Sequin Denim

Good morning Everyone and happy Sunday! I just wanted to say hi and share a few new images from ous visit to the Vlindorado butterfly garden, yesterday.  

Last week I noticed  these pair of jeans (with reversible sequins on the front!) in  the H&M online store  and just couldn’t resist the urge. I mean, I never had a pair of sequin pants before but what a fabulous  item to have in your closet!

Sequins are undergoing a major comeback, so be on the lookout for more of it soon! For this look, I decided to pair the jeans with a black ruffle top. To finish off the look, I chose black ankle boots and an oversized bomber jacket.

You have to remember though that sequins are a big statement. So it’s imperative you keep the rest of your look very minimal and stick to neutrals.

The Biker Coat

Good morning Everyone and happy Monday! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

If there’s anything I’m loyal to in life, it must be warm, fluffy outerwear – a part of my daily uniform that gets me in the mood to go out and face the cold winter months. The biker teddy coat I’m wearing today manage to give any outfit an unexpected twist and edge and at the same time make you look cute and cozy.

I paired the coat with a Nordic  sweater and black mini skirt and decided to have some fun with my shoes. I love my new Lost Ink loafers because of the soft and light muffin bottom and the pretty bows. These are definitely winners for me! To complete the look and bring a pop of color, I went for bright lips and handbag.

I think streamlined & sleek, lacquered denim is the easiest way to add a luxe, polished touch to your wardrobe without sacrificing comfort. You can make your pair work appropriate by wearing them with a relaxed button up or a smart, tailored jacket. Add a structured pretty bag and a smart pair of heels for a look you can take from office to street.

The Long Plaid Coat

Good morning Everyone and happy Sunday! There’s no doubt that the worst of winter has arrived, bringing sub-zero temperatures and icy winds along with it but when I see snow I feel pure joy! Many of us have happy childhood memories of playing in the snow, so when we see those big, fluffy flakes twirling from the sky, these memories kick in and we feel  like a kid again.

I’m in love with this long plaid coat from the moment I saw it! Why? Because it looks rich and glamorous, refined and sophisticated. Something about a  long wool coat screams impeccable style. To get an effortless casual style, I am wearing the coat with jeans, a white sweater and gumboots (I think gumboots are not just practical – they’re also fashionable).  😉 Classic pumps will look great for a sophisticated style, and flats for a more masculine chic.

Love The Oversized Coat

I wanted to say a quick hello and share a few new pictures from the last days.  

Personally, I love to wear oversized clothes, especially outerwear. I absolutely love this black and white  Zara oversized plaid coat! I think it’s worth investing in the oversized coat, as it can be paired with so many different looks. It completely transforms any outfit, remaining functional and ideal for cozying up during cold days of winter.

I just wanted to say a quick hello and share a few images of my new favorite high neckline sweater, another great staple for my Winter wardrobe. Aside from the fact that I love a good knit for the cold season in general, this one just happens to be one of those perfectly oversized, warm and cozy-as-a blanked perfections of a sweater. Since the weather drastically cooled down this past week, I’ve been pretty much wearing it non-stop.

For today’s look I paired it with my old favorite over-the-knee Mjus boots and an woolen midi skirt.

I was searching for a very long time for a perfect long wool blend cardigan and I’m very glad to say I’ve finally found it!

A simple long line cardigan can work wonders for your wardrobe during winter. Not only is it perfect for throwing on just about anything, it’s also great to have on hand when the temperature drops. To keep cosy this winter layer a striped shirt or dress and tights under a long knitted cardi, wrap yourself in a chunky scarf and you’re good to go!

For me, there is nothing like a crisp white top: a white blouse is the top closet basic every woman should own because it’s one of those true wear-anywhere that just always works.

Whether you pair it with a black skirt for the office or with blue jeans for the weekend, it will always be “in”.

If you already own the classic button down shirt maybe it’s time to add to your wardrobe a beautiful white blouse with a twist. The particular top I am wearing in today’s post is new and definitely one of my current favorites. I just can’t get over those amazing sleeves!

The Red Trench Coat

Hello everyone and happy Sunday! I hope you all have a great weekend so far.

The trench coat is such a classic and essential piece that’s perfect for all occasions, especially rainy weather. Fortunately, there are many inexpensive and cute trenches in stores right now, but finding the right one for you can take some time. I fell in love with this cherry red topper from Zara the moment I saw it! I choose for red because it works with many colors: black, white, grey, navy and camel (also a great pairing is red and blue or red and olive). I think two is a good number of trench coats to own. I recommend going with one in a classic color (tan, khaki, stone or beige) and a second in a high-impact color that makes you happy and works with the rest of your wardrobe.
