My One Year Blog Anniversary

They say that time flies when you’re having fun, and I can’t agree more!

Starting my own blog was a big step out of my comfort zone. I have been reading some fashion blogs occasionally and wanted to create my own for years. I love fashion and styling from as far I can remember. However, I was very afraid to put myself out there! I was thinking of what my friends or family would think. But I had to do it, it felt like “now or never”. So I did it. And now, one year later, with lots of hard work with myself (and still working on it), I managed to liberate myself from this fear, and everything fell into place.

It’s hard to believe that it’s already been a year since my first blog post, on December 24th 2015! So here I am, 98 posts (and outfits) later, on my one year blog anniversary!

P.S.: I want to inspire you to follow your dreams and to believe that you can achieve anything you want, no matter the assets you got in your hands right now.

If I can, you bet you can too!!

The Button-Down Dress

Hello Everyone and happy Sunday! How is your weekend so far?

This button-down dress from Zara is by far my new favorite!

There’s something so irresistibly casual and effortless about it, so versatile, easily dressed up and down. A long sleeved chiffon dress tied around the waist looks great with flat shoes and a massive bag for casual days or with heels and a clutch bag for a more sophisticated look.  Leave it loose and untied around the waist if you’re going for a boho-chic style or yo’re thinking of layering it up with a denim or leather jacket.

Crisp White

For me, there is nothing like a crisp white top: a white blouse is the top closet basic every woman should own because it’s one of those true wear-anywhere that just always works.

Whether you pair it with a black skirt for the office or with blue jeans for the weekend, it will always be “in”.

If you already own the classic button down shirt maybe it’s time to add to your wardrobe a beautiful white blouse with a twist. The particular top I am wearing in today’s post is new and definitely one of my current favorites. I just can’t get over those amazing sleeves!

Velvet Black & White

For today’s look I’m back in my favorite black and white! If you’ve been following me for a while, you may have noticed my style varies from very feminine to slightly masculine. I never really know which of these two I’ll be inclined to wear! Sometimes, especially during the spring and summer months, I get up in the morning and can’t wait to wear my girliest outfit and other times, I am all about sharp tailoring and edgy accessories. You know me, I’m a sucker for pussy bows, I always look for those “special little extras” that add a bit of charm and character, and make everyday favorites even more special.

This stunner of a velvet jacket I scored at a vintage store a few years ago and I’m still madly in love with it!

Dusty Pink

Good morning, Everyone and happy Wednesday! How is your week going so far?

It looks like my black moment is coming to an end. I wouldn’t say it’s completely over but I am definitely feeling like wearing more color again. And all thanks to the wonderful Zara blouse and Esprit pair of trousers I am wearing in today’s post. I actually have a weakness for this particular shade of pink.

Over-the-Knee Boots

Good morning and happy Sunday, everyone! Hope you’re enjoying your weekend! I wanted to say a quick hi and share a few  new images from our day trip to Eindhoven, yesterday.

For today’s look I’m back to black, wearing a warm turtleneck under the deep v-neckline oversized dress, patent leather jacket and my favorite over-the-knee boots.

Iconic LBD + Red Lips

The little black dress is an iconic and must have part of every woman’s wardrobe. This simple, yet sexy and beautiful dress can be worn in many different styles and lengths to suit almost any occasion. For today`s look I am sporting this beautiful black frill detail dress from H&M. Frills have been a major trend this season, with ruffles and flounces making their way from the catwalk to the high street. I accessorized my look with a pair of  fun polka dot-printed sheers, lace up block heels and a mini bag.

Just Black

Hello and happy Monday, Everyone! How is your week going so far?

Just wanted to say a quick hello and share a few pics of my new fall favorites. I’ve been on a hunt for a perfect black high waist skinny jeans for ages now, that pair I could dress up with a silky blouse and heels for night or dress down with a chunky knit and booties for day.  With the abundance of skinny jeans out there, it should be very easy to find just the right one… Well, apparently not. So, four days ago when a package from Zalando arrived I was very happy with my new online purchase.
For today’s look, I chose for a monochromatic black outfit. I wanted to keep all the attention on the fake fur stole (this is one of my favorite fall/winter accessories and, in my opinion, the most wearable runway trends this season). From the moment I saw it, I knew I finally found the one and decided to create a very soft day-time, comfortable yet feminine look.

The Patent Leather Skirt

Good morning everyone and happy Wednesday! How is your week going so far?

For  today’s look  I am wearing one of my personal favorites from the Fall 2016 trends, the glossy patent skirt. Eye-catching and statement-making the patent leather is hugely popular this season, adding a glamorous twist to classically feminine, creating a super slick effect.

I played with different textures to ad some contrast to my monochrome outfit. I opted for a simple sleeveless  turtleneck knitted top and my all time favorite, my Siste`s sheer cardigan. I wear this cardigan for years, I love the interesting details, the long streamers that flutter with every step, the short silky straps knotted all over and the lace back are simply fabulous. To finish my look I paired my outfit with patent leather ankle booties and a black clutch.

The Yellow Pants

Good morning, Everyone! Hope your weekend is going great so far!

I know I should be switching to a fall wardrobe – technically speaking my intention was to wear a black turtleneck and booties for this look :-), but for today I intend to take full advantage of the warm, sunny  weather we’re still enjoying here, by pairing my new Zara fall/winter collection pants with my fresh summer white linen blazer and accessories. I really love the color but I also love the way the pants fit, just the right amount of spandex, if you know what I mean… I also love the little off-the-shoulder ruffle top, too bad it`s sold out… (I`m slightly obsessed with off-the-shoulder tops, I`m going to miss them so much next few months).

P.S.: I refuse to believe Summer is over! 😦
