Good morning Everyone and happy Wednesday! How is your day going so far?

For today’s look I am wearing one of my favorite all-time combinations: a cute off-the-shouler ruffle top, black skinny jeans, black sunnies and ballet shoes. And because we planned to spend our day out shopping I choose for a large size shopper 😉

P.S.: I think flat shoes can really elevate a pair of figure-hugging jeans to no end.

Good morning Everyone and happy Thursady! How is your week going so far?

Guess what’s hot this spring? All things pink!

 

 And what’s not to love about pink? It goes with everything and makes you look fresher than fresh!

 

There has always been something… juvenile about this color, traditionally associated with hyper-femininity (formerly the preserve of Barbie) but, it’s 2017 and people are wearing what they love. So it’s no surprise that pink has been reclaimed by designers, editors, and industry movers, positioning this color at the center of their aesthetics. The prayers of girly girls everywhere have been answered: pink is the unofficial color of the year!

Pink * Feminine Energy

One of the most popular colors for Spring 2017 is pink. Dusty pink, candy pink, baby pink, raspberry, fuchsia, peach, magenta and deep cherry pink provide a pretty new way to see fashion through rose-tinted glasses.

For today’s look I paired this beautiful  MbyM  trench coat in dusty salmon shade with a pair of  flared jeans and sneakers for a casual look . I absolutely love the  maxi quilted scarf in the same color, it really elevates the whole look to another level.

Sequin Denim

Good morning Everyone and happy Sunday! I just wanted to say hi and share a few new images from ous visit to the Vlindorado butterfly garden, yesterday.  

Last week I noticed  these pair of jeans (with reversible sequins on the front!) in  the H&M online store  and just couldn’t resist the urge. I mean, I never had a pair of sequin pants before but what a fabulous  item to have in your closet!

Sequins are undergoing a major comeback, so be on the lookout for more of it soon! For this look, I decided to pair the jeans with a black ruffle top. To finish off the look, I chose black ankle boots and an oversized bomber jacket.

You have to remember though that sequins are a big statement. So it’s imperative you keep the rest of your look very minimal and stick to neutrals.

In the last few years, leopard print has really moved on to a whole new level. This wild print is nothing to be afraid of and, done right, looks super-chic.

But it’s one thing to rock this animal print when you are out on the town with the girls, but can you pull it off in the workplace? Yes. Leopard print is one of the boldest animal prints a woman can wear to the office. You don’t have to avoid it. Let’s take for example this pretty blouse from Only. If you want to make it the focal point of your outfit, just  keep the color combo simple with soothing neutrals  such as nudes, browns, black, dark navy blues and olive greens. Keep everything else you’re wearing simple to avoid creating too many distractions.

I think streamlined & sleek, lacquered denim is the easiest way to add a luxe, polished touch to your wardrobe without sacrificing comfort. You can make your pair work appropriate by wearing them with a relaxed button up or a smart, tailored jacket. Add a structured pretty bag and a smart pair of heels for a look you can take from office to street.

The Long Plaid Coat

Good morning Everyone and happy Sunday! There’s no doubt that the worst of winter has arrived, bringing sub-zero temperatures and icy winds along with it but when I see snow I feel pure joy! Many of us have happy childhood memories of playing in the snow, so when we see those big, fluffy flakes twirling from the sky, these memories kick in and we feel  like a kid again.

I’m in love with this long plaid coat from the moment I saw it! Why? Because it looks rich and glamorous, refined and sophisticated. Something about a  long wool coat screams impeccable style. To get an effortless casual style, I am wearing the coat with jeans, a white sweater and gumboots (I think gumboots are not just practical – they’re also fashionable).  😉 Classic pumps will look great for a sophisticated style, and flats for a more masculine chic.
