Lace It Up

Good morning and happy Sunday, Everyone!

I just wanted to say a quick hello and share a few images from our trip to Arnhem, yesterday. Since I knew we were going to be walking quite a bit, I wanted to wear something comfortable and easy. I got the lace-up shirt I’m wearing in today’s post, two weeks ago and haven’t had the chance to wear it before. I realy love this beautiful shade of green, it works with a variety of colors, brown in particular, I think. I completed the look with my new Sisley shorts, some lace up flats and a cute mini cross-body bag. What I particularly like about wearing these two colors together is how beautifully they complement each other and also what a soft combination they make!

Denim, denim, denim

Good morning Everyone and happy Wednesday! How is your week going so far?

I wanted to take this opportunity to share one of my new favorites, this adorable J. Lindeberg bag. Love everything about it: the size, the shape and of course the color!

I’m a big fan of the double denim trend, I love the multiple ways it can be worn. It looks fun, femine and fashionable at the same time. Denim is a basic, essential staple in everyone’s wardrobe that is so versatile, easy to wear with almost any fashion items. The combinations are just endless. The perfection of simplicity. Try teaming different shades of denim, light, dark… they all work.

For today’s look I’m wearing a H&M blouse, matching shorts and my Vanilia long denim coat. I just adore how the two contrasting boyish and girly shapes meet in the middle perfectly. A pair of sneakers make this looks even more comfortable.

How about you guys, what’s your favourite denim combination?

Bohemian Summer

Good morning and happy Sunday, Everyone! Hope you’re all enjoying your weekend! I just wanted to say a quick hello and share a few of my new favorites, the bright H&M bohemian blouse and the Benetton tote bag.

I love wearing tops that I can easily mix with my other summer items, whether it’s for the beach or brunch, easy breezy loose tops are great for hot summer days. This summer, a bohemian blouse is probably one of the first things I look for.

How about you guys, what is your summer favorite this year?

A Day at the Beach

Good morning and happy Wednesday, Everyone! I just wanted to say a quick hello and share a few images from our day at Scheveningen Beach, one of our all-time favorite beach destinations and the most popular stretch of sand in Holland, between The Hague and the sea. It is a great place for walking, sunning and swimming, as well as surfing, visiting events and enjoying great (sea)food.

Aside from being absolutely breathtakingly beautiful, a big reason why my boys and I like Scheveningen so much are of course the beach pavilions and cosy restaurants and the super comfy beach beds. We’ve been to this place many times before, somehow we always end up visiting the familiar spots like the Bora Bora Club, in my opinion the most exotic beachclub. The brightly coloured chairs and tropical looking interior will quickly make you feel as though you are in the Caribbean.

The Army Trend

Good morning Everyone and happy weekend! Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend!

I just wanted to say a quick hello and share a few new images. Does it ever happen that you buy a beautiful piece of cloth and completely forget to wear it? This is a camouflage print blouse from H&M that I had bought from the winter 2015 collection and to my surprise, I absolutely forgot to take a notice of it.

One of this season’s hot fashion trends is the military look.  I love the army look so much, it never seems to go out of style, it just keeps getting updated each season.

What about you guys, how do you feel about the camo trend?

The One Shoulder Dress

Good morning and happy Wednesday to you all! Hope you all had an amazing week so far!

I belive shoulders are one of the most beautiful parts of a woman’s body and I can’t think of a better way to accentuate their beauty than by wearing a pretty one shoulder dress. Sexy, yet rather elegant, there is something particularly romantic and feminine about them!

This Zara asymmetrical dress is my latest find, one of those pieces that combine everything I look for in a dress from one open shoulder, pockets, perfect bright color and feminine silhouette!

Good morning and happy weekend, everyone! I just wanted to say a quick hello and share two of my newest favorites. First, this gorgeous folkloric midi skirt from Zara. The fantastic color combinations of earthy shades  and ethnic patterns makes me dream of faraway places.

I’m also totally in love with my new Pier One ankle-wrap wedge espadrilles, I think  they are so cute and girly, easy to dress up or down, a more comfortable alternative to a heel. I’m so glad that they are one of this season’s must have sandals!

What about you, guys, how do you feel about platform espadrilles?

The Ethnic Embroidery Dress

Good morning, Everyone and happy Sunday!

Fashion is cyclical and old pieces that yesterday stood in our mother or grandma’s closet are hip again. Take the Romanian blouse, “ia” for example. The ia is often described as a representative piece of Romanian folklore. Feminine, colorful like Romania itself and very beautifully decorated. Each region has its own patterns and colors. There are some initiatives that push for reintroducing the representative cultural elements back into society, with a modern twist, obviously, so it’s easier to catch on or create a trend.

Today I’m styling this lovely summer dress from H&M. As you probably know, my country of origin is Romania. So when I first saw this dress I had to think immediately about the Romanian blouse. Too bad it’s already sold out, though I’ve seen similar ones around. I totally love the combination of blue, orange and black and especially the beautiful embroidery and cute tassels… It’s so comfy and airy and it’s the easiest thing ever to just slip on in the morning without having to think about it.

Old & New

Good morning, Everyone!

This is yet another one of my outfits comprised entirely of new and old favorites. Most you’ve met before. I’m talking about the yellow blazer, jeans, saddle bag and especially the French Connection loafers which I’ve been wearing almost daily. But honestly, I love them! Not only do I love the way they look, they also happen to be really comfortable, which makes it even more difficult to wear anything else. Lastly, I’d like to introduce you to my newest acquisition, the Esprit button down striped shirt.

I hope you are having a wonderful week!
