Good morning and happy weekend, everyone! I just wanted to say a quick hello and share two of my newest favorites. First, this gorgeous folkloric midi skirt from Zara. The fantastic color combinations of earthy shades  and ethnic patterns makes me dream of faraway places.

I’m also totally in love with my new Pier One ankle-wrap wedge espadrilles, I think  they are so cute and girly, easy to dress up or down, a more comfortable alternative to a heel. I’m so glad that they are one of this season’s must have sandals!

What about you, guys, how do you feel about platform espadrilles?

The White Midi Skirt

Happy Sunday, Everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend! I wanted to say a quick hello and share a few images of my latest obsession, this gorgeous H&M circle skirt I am wearing in this post. I finally found a skirt that combines all of my favorite elements: volume, midi lenght and a cute fabric. This is for me the perfect summer skirt to wear day or night and to dress up or down!

Dress like a French girl

Happy Wednesday Everyone! How is your week going so far?

Last weekend we finally made our choice, we are going to France this summer! Can’t wait to go shopping for holiday clothes!

The French girls are renowned for their fashion sense and you could definitely say that there’s a certain “je ne se quoi” about their style.

Don’t know about you guys, but when I think about a French style icon, I think about Brigitte Bardot.

Here are a few style tricks to steal from the French actress and style icon:

  •  Wear ballerina`s. Make sure they look simple and light.
  • Wear natural fabrics and colors such as cotton, linen, straw, etc.
  • If your dress is sophisticated, go for messy hair.
  • Remember: the sexiest outfits are the most simple.

Ruffles & Pleats

Could it be that ruffles or pleats are too girly?

Not if you love frilly, lacy, and delicate clothing. I love the feminine, romantic style. I think a bit of it will make an outfit more feminine and less stiff, making it look like you’re having loads of fun with fashion. I wore my favorite leopard print bomber jacket and my snake print boots just to add that extra pop to my outfit.

Another obsession of mine is Crystal Noir by Versace. It’s one of the most beautiful fragrances in the world, sensual and dark. The first moment I wore it, I knew definitively that I had found my signature scent.

The Cold Shoulder

I’m so happy spring is finally here and flowers are everywhere blooming.

I totally love the feminine romantic vibe from one of the biggest trends this summer: cold shoulder!

I like the trend so much because I think it’s universally flattering. There’s a breezy nonchalance to off-the-shoulder looks that’s difficult to find fault with.

It’s sexy without being overt and… it’s fun!

You can pair it with pointy toe heels or sneakers for an effortless spring look or with palazzos for a casual look. Go for basic makeup and no fancy hairstyles. Keep the accessories minimal.

What about you guys? Will you give it a try?

Rainy Days

Good morning and happy Monday, Everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend!

Today’s outfit is not really colorful, but very weatherproof.

If you ask me there are plenty of ways to look stylish while sheltering from the elements.

Now that it’s January it’s raining a lot here, so I wear my raincoat frequently.

(Houndstooth is on trend this winter and, judging by its past, a timeless print.)

I hope you enjoy it.

Pop of Colour

I just bought these orange New Balance sneakers yesterday and I really, really love them!

Black and white is timeless, classic and sophisticated. A trend that never, ever goes out of fashion. Worn right, a mix of these two colours can transform any look, taking it from ordinary to “street-style ready”.

Add accessories and a pop of colour and you’re good to go!

I hope you like it!
